Transport

The six-lane Bruce Highway (M1), north of Brisbane, provides the main link to the Moreton Bay district.

Lawnton Station is on the North West rail line offering easy access to South East Queensland.

The Citytrain network extends from the centre of Brisbane south to Beenleigh and Robina on the Gold Coast, north to Ferny Grove, Shorncliffe, Caboolture and Gympie, east to Cleveland and west to Ipswich and Rosewood.

The Citytrain network covers approximately 300 kilometres of track and includes 143 stations. Queenslanders make an estimated 49 million passenger journeys per year with Citytrain, with a daily average of 150,000 journeys.
